Family Medical Supply 2009 Business Fest

The Family Medical Supply Business Fest 2009, Dunn’s 18th annual business expo, is set for Tuesday, September 29 and will be held at the Dunn Community Building and Dr. PK Vyas Recreation Center on Jackson Rd in Dunn. Doors to the expo will open at 11:00 a.m. and the show will continue until 6:30 p.m.

Spectators can visit more than 60 exhibits inside and outside the facility. While there, visitors can learn more about area businesses and sample some of their goods and services. Several businesses will be giving away door prizes through drawings at their individual booths. Several businesses have free giveaways and several booths will be giving out food and snacks as well as drinks.

Five Grand prize drawings for $100 bills will be held at the close of the show. Spectators can register for the chance to win at the show in both buildings.

According to Chamber Director Tammy Williams, “Just about every kind of business you can imagine will be represented at the day-long event from medical to recreation, from bakery to banking. The expo offers something for everyone. You are sure to find a product or service that you did not realize was available locally.” At the expo, exhibitors give away everything from pens and pencils to discount coupons.

A new addition to this year’s show are seminars open to the public. The seminars will be held in the Multi-purpose Room in Vyas Recreation Center running from 3:30-6:15pm. The cost of the seminars is included in Admission to the show. The schedule of the seminars includes:

3:30pm – Sleep Apnea Effects and Treatment

4:15pm - Identity and Theft Fraud Protection
presented by First Federal Bank

5:00 - How to use a blackberry
presented by Cellular Warehouse an authorized US Cellular agent.

5:45pm - $8,000 Tax Credit Details
presented by Elmore Realty & Builders

Fall Safety Tune-Up
