About

Family Medical Supply Inc. was started in 1990 as Dunn Medical Supply by Joey and Melanie Tart with one location in Dunn, NC. With a strong desire to help and serve people in a Christian way the business began to flourish and the decision was made to expand and Billy Tart joined the business. With the opening of their second location in Fuquay-Varina the name changed to Family Home Medical Supply.

In 1996, with the addition of our Fayetteville location, we shortened our name to Family Medical Supply. Since then we have had the opportunity to add nine additional stores in Eastern and Central North Carolina giving Family Medical Supply a total of 13 locations in the following areas: Aberdeen, Cary, Clinton, Dunn, Fuquay-Varina, Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Lillington, New Bern, Raleigh, Shallotte, Smithfield and Wilson North Carolina.

The most recent addition was the merging of Medic Home Equipment, Inc. in New Bern, NC.
